As president of Submar, Tim leads the overall company strategy and directives with a heavy emphasis on business development. His background includes a diverse mix of key management, ownership, and board of directors positions with Gerhardt’s, Wartsila North America, Oil States Industries, and Motortech Americas. He also has served on several industry manufacturer councils.
Tim’s industry experience includes erosion control, gas compression, industrial engine manufacturing, power generation, distribution, offshore cranes, and mooring systems. He has a deep global perspective, having travelled in nearly 45 different countries.
A passionate believer in the power of motivated people, he frequently commissions process improvement teams to study, recommend, and implement changes to ensure Submar remains innovative and at the forefront of the erosion control industry.
Tim is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a technical degree in Natural Gas Compression. He also is a graduate of the Total Quality Management (TQM) program at Texas A&M and the Wartsila “Lead Management” program.
