Submar began over 30 years ago in Houma, Louisiana, as a company that provided articulating concrete mats to the offshore oil and gas market for use in the Gulf of Mexico. Since then, we have evolved to become the industry standard in offshore and onshore pipeline protection. After entering into the onshore erosion control market in 1997, we have completed projects in 43 states for 90 percent of the major pipeline companies and have provided hundreds of onshore solutions for commercial, civil, and governmental entities, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
