Submar Case Study – In our latest case study, discover how Submar protected an 18 inch natural gas pipeline that was exposed for 4 feet due to lateral migration at Perkiomen Creek in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The site was dewatered and a Submar articulating concrete mat system was installed. In addition, 500 ft of Longitudinal Peaked Stone Toe Protection (LPSTP) were installed to prevent future toe scour. Finally, a 1 foot thick natural stream substrate was placed on top of the mat and subgrade rock system.
