A typical construction project begins with a site visit from a regional Submar representative who performs a site assessment. After evaluating the site data, our engineering department creates a set of detailed design drawings showcasing the existing conditions and a proposed solution. Our proposals include a site description, engineered design drawings of the proposed product placement, scope of work, and a quote for the construction costs.

Construction
We follow the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Upland Erosion Control, Revegetation, and Maintenance Plan, as well as FERC’s Wetland and Waterbody Construction and Mitigation Procedures. When a construction project is completed, our crew restores all disturbed areas of the job site before departing.

Post-construction
Submar offers the most comprehensive warranty in the erosion control industry. Our warranty applies to the whole project: the product and the site. We conduct regular performance assessment visits to ensure the project remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
