Experience
Based in Houma, Louisiana, Submar started providing articulated concrete mats to the offshore oil and gas market for use in the Gulf of Mexico over 30 years ago. Since then, we’ve evolved into the industry standard for offshore and onshore pipeline exposure remediation.
Submar has tackled projects in 43 states for 90 percent of the major pipeline companies. We’ve also provided hundreds of onshore solutions for commercial, civil, and governmental entities, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Our ability to create new products and customized solutions for a variety of markets allows us to serve multiple sectors.
Safety
Our commitment to safety and the environment cannot be overstated. Nothing is more important than safety. Our philosophy is that if it cannot be done safely, it should not be done at all.
All Submar products are made with high-quality materials, and we perform safety testing on our leasable installation equipment every 6 months. Submar is proud to provide quality control and certified safety-testing documentation in support of our commitment to safety and quality.
Targeted Solutions
We offer comprehensive, turnkey project management services, from initial site studies to regulatory compliance and post-construction monitoring. Submar offers a variety of stand-alone professional services to handle pipeline exposure mitigation for the oil and natural gas pipeline industry. Also, as a complement to our offshore Submar mats (articulated concrete mats designed specifically for a marine environment), we offer a full line of deployment frames to safely place our mats. Whether you’re working in 5 feet or 5,000 feet, we have a frame suited for your deployment.
